Today was the first time in a lo-o-ong time that I've felt like going to church. It was wonderful to be there--nothing like being there in person!! There's no describing how much I've missed it...
I'm Dee and have been married to my best friend Phil for 37 years. We have 2 married sons--Blake, aged 32, married to Lauran and Blair, age 27, married to Rachel. All four of our children are multi-talented, and we are blessed by all of them. I enjoy crafts of all kinds, especially needlecrafts and scrapbooking. I also love to read many different genres. Phil and I both are retired teachers and love that we've retired to our family farm where we enjoy feeding and watching the many birds which visit our back and front yards. We also enjoy traveling and going to storytelling festivals.
Although I don't want to be defined by this temporary setback, I must let you know because of some of the comments I'll be making on my blog that I'm in treatment for breast cancer. My family and I are very optimistic that the chemo and radiation will take care of all the cancer and that I'll be cancer-free.
